Satellite laser ranging (SLR) had been operated at a pulse repetition frequency (PRF) from ?10 Hz to 10 kHz; the ultra-high PRF of SLR (UH-SLR) is trend development. In this study, an alternate working mode firing and gated bursts proposed solve problem echo interference by backscattering. Through 200-kHz picosecond green with single-pulse energy 80 ?J width ps gate device, UH-SLR has built aperture 60-cm system in Shanghai Astronomical Observatory. By UH-SLR, low-orbit high-orbit geostationary orbit satellites are measured night day also for medium-orbit daytime. The normal point (NP) accuracy ?30 ?m ?100 satellites, which provides effective method development high-precision space target ranging.
